Another Day, Another Update
Well, I've done it again - I've been busy doing other things besides posting on The New Business Blog. But, it's all for a good reason.
The Doug (business partner) and I are still working on the site, but things are coming together nicely. While we're obviously not going to meet our goal of having the site up and running by Memorial Day (tomorrow), I'm confident we will have everything ready for business very soon.
What we are currently working on is deciding who will handle our credit card transactions. There are several companies that specialize in this service and most major banks will also do those transactions for you.
Obviously, the service isn't free, so we're trying to find out who has the lowest transaction fees with the best customer service. Considering this will be our first venture, it is probably best to pay a higher fee if it means we will have better customer service... chances are we're going to need it.
So, that's where we are as of now. I should have another update tomorrow evening.
